PortMiami has parking available at all eight of its terminals. The trolley drops off at the port every 15 to 20 minutes between 6:30 a.m. From there, you can walk the 1.5 miles to port or hop on Miami Trolley's Coral Way route to take you the rest of the way. Take the Metrorail's Orange Line to downtown Miami's Freedom Tower stop (about 30 minutes). Miami Cruise Port Amtrak to MiamiĪmtrak has a stop in Miami, which is about a 20-minute cab ride from PortMiami. From MIA, you can also use the Metrorail. From MIA, a cab will cost you a flat rate of $27 from FLL, it will run you roughly $80. From either one, you can pre-arrange a shuttle through your cruise line (if you're arriving the same day your cruise leaves) taxis are also readily available. Passengers on cruises departing from PortMiami can fly into Miami International Airport or Fort Lauderdale International Airport. Getting to Port of Miami from the Airport Continue over the bridge and follow signage to designated terminal. Fifth Street will lead onto the PortMiami bridge.
